The Transnational, Serious and Organised Crime (TSOC) jointly investigate and disrupt organised crime groups operations, target groups using small craft to move illicit drugs, share operational intelligence, and strengthen cooperation to conduct expanded and complex investigations.

How to join
There are standard steps to joining any investigative area in the AFP.
- Train as a police officer recruit
- Complete six months’ probation
- Successfully complete an on-the-job workbook (usually completed over a 12-month period)
- Continue to gain policing experience and apply for an investigative position when advertised.
