What is the role?

Applications are sought from suitably qualified applicants wishing to be considered for the role of Team Member - Drug Testing with the Professional Standards (PRS) Integrity Compliance Team. The Integrity Compliance team contributes to and promotes organisational integrity compliance through the management and delivery of the AFP's mandatory drug testing program.

What will you do?

  • Scheduling and management of day-to-day drug testing within the AFP
  • Monitoring and responding to correspondence and requests received in the Drug Program Project Office mailbox
  • General administrative duties including data entry and maintenance of drug testing records
  • Interrogation and use of several AFP systems
  • Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintaining currency in subject matter expertise through on-going professional development and learning opportunities
  • Contributing to a positive and energetic team culture.

Essential Requirements

  • You must be an Australian Citizen at the time of application.
  • A Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively within a small team
  • Contemporary knowledge and experience relevant to the role.
  • High level written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail

  • This role is based in Canberra, ACT only and the successful applicant must be located in Canberra or relocate at own expense
  • This role is an AFP Band 4 level
