What is the role?

Working as part of a small team you will provide high level support to the members using Quintiq, AFP's rostering and time recording solution. 

You will bring ideas, influences great work culture, positively impacting all team members. Help us to improve what we do and introduce new ways of engaging our teams across the AFP. A positive attitude, good interpersonal skills and a desire to further develop your knowledge of the system.

What will you do?

  • Provide high level customer service providing support to members using Quintiq, AFP’s rostering and time recording solution.
  • Undertaking tasks assigned by the Team Leader to maintain ongoing support.
  • Support BAU objectives identifying and escalating issues to the Senior team member and team leader.
  • Develop and maintain QSS documentation.
  • Manage enquiries via phone and the ServiceNow Portal.
  • Identify, investigate and provide solutions for issues that may arise including engaging with the vendor for defect management. 
  • Anticipate, discuss and plan for future requirements and/or broader issues and apply flexibility in adapting to changing priorities.
  • Develop team members and fulfil a guiding, mentoring and advisory role.
  • Maintain currency in subject matter expertise with the Quintiq system through ongoing professional development and learning opportunities outside the formal education process.

Essential Requirements

  • You must be an Australian Citizen at the time of application.
  • A Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • Has contemporary knowledge and experience relevant to the role.
  • Relevant qualification or extensive experience and knowledge in area of expertise.

Desirable Requirements

The following skills and/or experience would be highly regarded:

  • Payroll and/or HR knowledge and experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge or experience with Quintiq Rostering system (or equivalent) and working within a service team environment.  
  • Strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to engage and liaise with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and at times complete allocated tasks with limited guidance.

Additional Information

This role is located in ACT and applicants will be required to reside in ACT or relocate at their own expense

This role is an AFP Band 5 level
