Role Summary

Integration is growing quickly in the AFP. We're rolling out new integration technologies and uplifting legacy systems to modern integration solutions. Plenty of new projects to keep you busy and existing ones to support. The team is small but growing with a great team culture. 

 

This role is in Canberra; however remote working options may be negotiated.

 

What will you do?

 

  • Driving an automation first approach, developing and documenting best practices and strategies for the platform.
  • Troubleshooting incidents, idemtifying root cause, fix and document problems, and implimnet preventative measures.
  • Collaborating across multple teams within TOCIO and the business to evaluate and identify improvements and aoptimal integration solutions
  • Interacting with internal and external stakeholders to determine the best solution for the proposed requirements

Desirable Skills

Essential Requirements

 

  • You must be an Australian Citizen at the time of application.
  • A Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • Has contemporary knowledge and experience relevant to the role.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a like or related field.
  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant field.
  • Relevant qualification or extensive experience and knowledge in area of expertise.

 

Desirable Requirements

 

The following skills and/or experience would be highly regarded:

 

  • Experience in IBM Cloud pack for integration – ACE, APIG
  • Familiarity with APIs, automation tools, and understanding of CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of Azure, Red hat
  • Kafka
  • BizTalk knowledge - Not required but desirable
